For more than 15 years, owner Sam Harris and his family have proudly operated Harris County Farms, a local slaughter and processing facility serving Houston, Harris County, and the surrounding communities. What began with a commitment to supplying quality lamb, goat, beef, pork, and poultry has grown into a one-of-a-kind destination: Harris County Meats.
As a family-owned and operated business, we brought our vision to life by creating a modern, state-of-the-art meat market where quality, freshness, and community come together. Our unique facility features a full-service meat market, a restaurant and bar, and an on-site poultry processing plant, all under one roof.
Because we own and operate our own slaughter and processing facility, we can provide our community with fresh, quality products directly from our facility to your family’s table.
Every Saturday and Sunday, we also prepare fresh, authentic barbacoa using whole beef heads, slowly smoked on-site in our state-of-the-art smokehouses. It is a weekend tradition made with care and served fresh to our customers.
